Cesari

Veneto - Sicilia

In 1936, Gerardo Cesari founded his winery in Veneto with the primary intention of producing Amarone able to compete with the best Italian and international red wines. In the early 70s, Cesari Amarone was one of the first Italian wines to reach all five continents thanks to the enthusiasm and initiative of Franco Cesari, son of Gerardo. Thus began the success story of Cesari wines in the world. Today, Cesari continues to evolve while staying true to its roots with Deborah and Gerardo Cesari, Franco's children have joined their father in the company's management. The winery continues to produce unique wines, elegants and balanced, inspired by the tradition but using the latest technology in the field of vine cultivation. Thus sustainable agriculture and environmentally friendly techniques have been put forward. Quality starts with the vines. Cesari controls over 100 hectares of vineyards located in the best areas of Valpolicella and Lugana. With 70 years of experience, 4 plots intended for the production of high quality wine, were selected: Bosan, Il Bosco, Jema and Centofilari. These plots each distinguished by their soil, climate and exposure.
