In memory of Beppe
On January 15, 2019, Beppe Colla passed away at the age of 88. His passing leaves a void in our family, our winery and Alba’s world of wine. He was a tenacious and clear-sighted fighter until the end, and as one friend wrote, “…a true gentleman as well as a specialist of great value; he combined charisma with modesty, something that only certain Piedmontese can do…”
The words of many are not necessary, even if he is in their memories. We commemorate him simply with the words of some of the friends that knew him.
